Cartier Rotonde de Cartier Reversed Tourbillon — 18K white gold, limited edition 92/100
Price on request
On consignment · Authenticated before handoverA watch whose dial is the movement. Beneath a grid of white gold Roman numerals, calibre 9458 MC shows itself the right way round: bridges, wheels and, at six o'clock, the flying tourbillon cage whose Cartier "C" serves as the seconds hand. This is what the house calls the reversed tourbillon — the mechanics on the dial side, the slate guilloché ground set back, two blued-steel sword hands as the only concession to reading the time.
Round 46.2 mm case in 18K white gold, beaded crown set with a sapphire cabochon, sapphire case back open onto the movement's Côtes de Genève, engraved with its calibre and movement numbers. The calibre — 167 components, 19 jewels, manual winding, around 52 hours of power reserve — bears the Poinçon de Genève, the most demanding certification in fine watchmaking: every bridge bevelled, every flank drawn, every screw head polished by hand. Blue alligator strap.
Limited edition of 100 numbered pieces: this one is number 92. A piece entrusted by its owner, presented as a full set — red Cartier box, papers and original invoice. Its last service was carried out in 2025 by Cartier in Switzerland: the movement comes out of the manufacture, not a third-party workshop. The individual serial number is shared with the buyer. Like every consigned piece at FAMES, it is examined by our watch specialists, at our expense, before handover.
