Chanel Camellia Flap Bag — Black lambskin & patent leather, silver hardware

The camellia, Gabrielle Chanel's flower, does not decorate this bag: it covers it. Dozens of hand-stitched camellias overlap across the whole front and the flap, matte lambskin petals alternating with glossy patent ones, each pinned with a raised heart — a floral marquetry in black on black, where only the silver CC turn-lock catches the light. The back stays a classic quilt; the silver chain interlaced with leather is worn on the shoulder or across the body.

Inside, a burgundy lambskin lining with its patch pocket, and the serial sticker 22460728: series 22, a 2016–2017 production according to authentication guides — the last years of the holographic sticker, before the chip.
